I had hoped she did, yes. Actually, she has made me and others see just how lacking she is, and how pernicious. In this sense, she is indeed quite illuminating. One thing is clear: The world will never "be made safe" for her, as she claims is the goal at the end of her book. Nor should it.

The part where she is in the parking lot, and she slaps and strangles the woman. There is nothing wrong with this in and of itself: In fact, to a natural born submissive and masochist, this might be an utterly delcious and even transcendent and spiritual incident.
It was the utter vileness and pettiness of ME Thomas' later acts which made me want to vomit: Enjoying seeing this woman unravel, and go from a resourceful and courageous lawyer to an unemployed addict. Does she really think that beautiful empaths cannot be dominants? That only neurologically-impaired turnip heads and freaks like herself can deliver the goods? What a self-deluded moron she is.
I don't mean this matters to me, but...I am not sure there will be a lot of concern toward the author here from the forum or blog. The forum seems to be an incubation chamber, insulated heavily against involvement elsewhere. There will not be found quite the rancor you have for the author here that I have noticed. The forum is a parasitic organism breaking of from its host, and trying to make it on its own in the dark little corner it broods in.
