Slicing the throat is a much kinder fate than watching someone thrash in fear while drowning. I just can't be the saviour anymore...
When they're dead, did how they die really matter anyway?
this isn't about killing someone, it's about putting them out of their misery.
If their misery is their own life, it's still putting them out of it once they're dead. Even if their death was suffering, it stops being that once they expire. Unless you believe in ghosts.
it was figurative metaphor for ending a relationship abruptly and forcefully vs dragging it out... jeez...
With how many times people have talked about death here, I guess the subtlety of the message went over my head.
