You think love is weak because you  (or the people you see) can't handle it and it makes you  (or the people you see) weak. Whatever "weak" means anyway and whether what you call "weak" is really a weak or bad thing.

I would say the above, interestingly enough, makes what you said weak, by what is likely your own definition.

Also, love is not an emotion. Mistake #1, the basis of all mistakes regarding what people think love is.

Strongly agree with this assessment and would wish to add: those without love view love as useless, because they want it.  Even if they deny it up and down, as soon as they experience it, that attitude will change.  It's an almost confusion-free experience.  You'll know love when you meet love.  It's intrinsically as simple and powerful as that.  Love is a truth unto itself.

...Although, Tom Campbell has an interesting definition to love.  Love, to him, is the sentiment to move toward complexity, unification, and to fortify against entropy.  Love is the way consciousness experiences this phenomena.  Or something like that.  It seems like a bit of a strange scientific or logic-deduced definition to love.

Love is a weak and clouds ones judgement. It is a useless emotion. Like is more who I can tolerate and therefore I have no real connection to either. I can not give an educated answer to your question as I don't engage in either like or love.

I wish to make sure I'm understanding you. You do not like anyone?

I personally like that the term "love" is so ambiguous. One could say it's the greatest most profound experience just as much as someone else could say it was an invention of Hallmark.

I like that learning each person's belief of what it is tells you something about them.

What have you learned so far?  What have you told us about you?

I've learned from how long I've been asking that it's a fairly ambiguous term. They project themselves into their explinations, because it itself is so hard to define, usually explaining their feelings on it with experience.

I've said a lot about myself actually in a few past threads.

Well, okay.  I meant on this particular thread though.  I admit I miss the obvious, sometimes.  I was only wondering.  I don't claim to know you.  Nor am I trying to "gaslight" you.  I probably used that term wrongly. :)
