 No,  sometimes retrogression is called for.  But cancer just eats away at life.  It is antlife and the very stuff of death.

 Right:  It arises from the host,  and mutates, and becomes abnormal,  and then feeds off the host,  and chokes the life out of it,  and dies along with the host.  Not real smart.

 Yes,  death and life are all on a continuum ,  but cancer devouring healthy flesh just doesn't come across well.  Dracula, yes.  Cancer, no.  Although perhaps the cancer is revealing something about what occurred in that life, to break it down so. 

 As many times as I've "almost" died... I could almost believe this... Some days I feel like the cat with 9 lives.

"Doesn't come across well". So because it eats away at the victim, dare I use your word, "parasitic", it has worse PR in your book than murder?

 Without cancer, there is no evolution. Not physically at least.

 What the fuck, how can you say this. Sounds like one of the defence mechanisms/justifications you sometimes invent for yourself to cope with stuff. Does anyone you know/close to you have cancer Luna?
