Sociopathology and Revaluation of Values

I am surprised - unless I have missed it -  that there is no discussion regarding an evolving morality or "revaluation of values"  based on the more aloof,  cool,  and objective response to moral and legal issues as depicted by ME in her book.  In truth I had come to this forum expecting to see all kinds of sociological or cultural implications being discussed,  but seems to be more of a jesting contest.   I would imagine that those inclined to philosophical opining and the exploration of meta-issues always seek such transformative and revoluationary storms and expect them to be swirling around in a place where people proclaim themselves to be sociopaths.

In any case:  Our current moral crazes and fads and much that goes on within the criminal justice system - and I will not be specific - would appear to be long overdue for such a rehauling and transformation.  I have a feeling many people are not really so in tune with the current biases,  and would welcome such.

Perhaps it is one of those historical turnings whose moment has not yet come,  and will tap into this subsoil of "sociopathology" (really do not like this word; there are better) when the time is ripe.

Just thought I'd throw it out there.

This demonstrates you are shortsighted and unaware of reality.

 Oh,  well,  so be it.

In any case,  those who are interested in what I am proposing might think on this:

That Nietzsche believed that the Overman reached his height at the same time that the Last Man sunk to zero:

Both ascension and decline belong to the same historical moment and owe their origins to the same causes.

Also that to be "a good European" (in our time a good global citizen) would mean rising above all narrow parochial interests......Guess I really see too much in the whole thing.  To me,  fascinating.  I guess not so to others.

You have a lovely pompous facade. Did you just throw that on for us or did it take you years to cultivate?

I guess he must think that all the people in the cancer wards are there because they enjoy talking about their tumors and pathologies.

I am a she,  but no,  I guess I was viewing "sociopath" as a code word for something else (e.g.,  a type that ran counter to the prevailing social type).  I didn't know it was actually literal:  That this was a forum for people who believe they have anti-social personality disorder as described in DSM V R.  I certainly do not view myself as ill in any way.  Your comparing it to a cancer ward is very telling.

No one said they have Anti-social personality disorder.

I presumed it and sociopathology were one and the same.   In any case,  just as some persons take all too literally,  I always take all too symbolically.

"Very telling" is tossed around here a lot, too.
