Give me respect!

OK so we needed a rental car for a bit. The car we got was an almost brand new one, fancy as hell with new car smell still in it. We sailed away and everywhere we stopped people had a good look and when we had to mix with people they treated us with utter respect.

What the heck is wrong with people??? Since when does a car tell you anything about a person, their character or their abilities? It doesn't even fricken tell you they have money, today people get deep in debt.

I've never been on the rich side so I've never paid much attention to how different people are treated. Since the least I care about is how much money someone has, I guess I have been somewhat blind to how the sheeple sees it.

Good golly. Kings for a day.

Can't wait until I'm rich for real... ><

They just jealous girlfriend!  Sport your bling bling.

On a more serious note, who cares what they think.  I mean really.

When I've learned everything about people I will stop being surprised and then I will stop caring. ;) I'm slowly getting cured from being naive.

You should put on your best suit and hand out cigars to everyone.  Then talk about your portfolio.

You could have subconsciously been handling yourself differently also. There's nothing wrong or odd about that, being in a new (new to you) car is really no different outwardly than getting your hair cut or having on a new outfit. I'm sure people admired the vehicle as well but it's possible that they were also admiring you and your boost of self confidence that you didn't realize you were exuding.

I'm pretty sure I didn't. Not the type to strut my stuff. I think to do it I would have to make it a conscious choice, way too busy with things I think are of importance.

I'd rather have my brain sliced up post mortem and have people go "ahh" and ohh" over it. ;))

I don't think having a cool car makes one worthy of respect. I know too many lame individuals with cool cars for that.

Using the word sheeple? Are you a basement dweller?
