I'd argue it's closer to assimilation than theft, since those taken in with such knowledge were given a chance to not be lesser citizens by sharing what they knew.

Odd that a class on historical fashion is where I learned that.

 Assimilation or theft, its really just semantics. The romans came in, conquered another nation, took their tech, and then improved it. That was the point I was making, something need not be yours to make use of it.

In the end, it's about building a great product, who cares if you guys wrote ALL of the code? NO FUCKING ONE that's who... Make a product that is highly functional, pleasurable to look at, and satisfies a need and people will want to use it.

They've already borrowed plenty of "other peoples creations".

Even their company name.

Any ideas so far? When I brought it up the first time on the older forum I was disappointed when you thought it'd be fine, mostly from wanting to see what it'd be called next.
