I don't see the relationship between a programmer and knowledge of e-mail relays.  I'm trying to understand it more.

Not everyone here is foolish enough to think they are invincible sourpuss.

But if someone did what you are contemplating to, me, I would put everything down to attend to it, and would make sure that it taught you a lesson you never forgot.

You are only wanting to exercise revenge to "show him" .....that you are the stronger person , because you have no true self respect or confidence. At best its petty on your part, at worst , he will show you a hitherto unseen viciousness that will leave you breathless (literally).
