Hi,
From what I understand there is a spectrum of sociopathic behaviour.
Some land in jail and others in business, if this is true what are the types of a sociopath?
From what i've been told and learnt from people is that I am most likey sociopathic to a degree, I enjoy being around animals more than humans, I meet most of the checklist with the 'shallow effect' and the 'empathy at an all time low' to name only a few.
Could it be that in some cases being a sociopath is purely enviromental, somewhat like a pack alpha, but nothing like the highschool alpha who is just a douchebag. From the information posted on the sight about one sociopath per two hundred people, would that not make the idea of a sociopath being a type of alpha more feasible?
For a description of myself, I enjoy manipulating events and people to see what outcome it would have, I enjoy the lying to strangers and friends for the sheer fun of doing it. I really don't care about if someone is getting married or have had kids, if I was put a 'label' on myself it would be a cynical small islands lad who is charming in person but useless in groups and has a talnet for the 'cold reading' of people.
Now this may be a thing of annoyance to some people with people posting on the site, 'help me I think in a sociopath I kicked a dog and didn't care' blah blah. I hope I have not broken the rule set on this fourm, and no one finds this post insulting or 'hipster', if so I will remove the topic.
This post was merely a built up need for answers of why people look at me weirdly when I have done something that I would deem normal.
Regards,
