I was wondering if you could create a 3d model that would speak for our company in a video displayed on the home page of the website we are working on redesigning?

I'm away from home, I should be back tomorrow maybe. You want character animation to represent what you're doing ? It can be done, but I wouldn't recommend using animated characters this way, not even a gaming company would do that cause it will either look cheap, or it will look like a movie, and the viewer wouldn't take it seriously. I would recommend a little CG with compositing, quick crossfades and transitions of music, with speech. And have it done beautifully. It can be done quicker than character animation. Trust me, find examples of animated characters representing, and it's either really cheap, or it will be like "hey look at that" while the viewer discards the message. In advertizing, things are best kept simple.
