yeah, the pres might not be in control of everything like he doesnt have supreme ultimate control but he does have some limited power and what he/she does with that power can be very annoying and not very beneficial to our nation or the world

He's definitely changed the perceived face of who can become president. It's a shame he wasn't worse really, as then he might have paved the way for greater changes.

We've been taught that we can't do anything about figures in power, and we've been directed towards each other to blow off steam.
It's not surprising, especially when the protest "riots" never aim to escalate high enough to warrant police action, instead preferring to use them as a shield.
Most people in First World nations aren't going to pick up a gun and actually fight, it would take very unstable conditions and civil unrest to motivate them to do that. Even if it were to somehow happen, normally the government issues a compromise to buy off the people (mainly liberalism) and prevent an actual revolution.
I dream of Revolution, I am trying my best to be prepared for it, and aspire to be a leader, a man of action. Even if I don't achieve such, I would give my life for the Revolution. In my eyes, and this isn't 100% accurate at the moment, because of my flaws that I am trying to fix. The Revolution should come before all. It's tragic, it's hard, it is cruel, but it is necessary.
