From what I've learned, when his mind is set on something, it isn't easily undone. He never liked SC at first, but it kinda grew on him, probably because he appreciates how hard set he can be even when it comes to this place. He does have a way of sticking to his directives.

In the event he decides to move on, he'll surely back up SC and make it available for all and SC's next keeper.
