My democracy outfit

Got up at 7:30, had a waffle and a coffee, put on grey jogging pants and a grey shirt, black hoodie and white socks. Time to vote like a gangster cool

Today, ladies and gentlemen, history is made

we vote for three offices today, first is the flemish parliament, second is the federal government and third is the European parliament

I voted open-flemish liberals and democrats for European because they are conservative-liberal with a good mix of immigration and a climate plan. For Federal I voted New Flemish Alliance who are Civic Nationalists, I hope they get more than 30% because they are the only way we can stop the socialists and greens from making a coalition and shutting them out. We don't need socialist government,

And for Flemish I voted libdems again because they are simply much better at communal politics and locally they get shit done.

tl;dr I voted across the right wing spectrum, Liberal and Civic Nationalist

quite an interesting election to follow

belgium is split, greens (left) in wallonia and nva (right) in flanders with Vlaams Belang (far right) gaining a lot of unexpected traction in flanders too

who wants to bet they beat their previous record for how long it takes to form a government?

the country is ungovernable and nearly half of flemish voted for a nationalist/radical nationalist party while half of wallons voted for left/radical left parties

a majority in the federal government is as good as impossible

I dress modestly and make sure the colours match up. For work I wear black/navy blue jeans or pants, a neat shirt or t shirt and if its chilly, a pull or hoody. Mostly I West dark clothing but when I feel crazy I deviate to a pair of dark brown/reddish pants that are quite common in Europe

Idk ill post some pics someday, how do you dress you hot gangsta queen?

I've been trying to move onto more form fitting mid-gender clothes. From a combination of self-shaming my figure, being poor, and not always having the luxury of affording nice clothes, I'd fallen into the habit of wearing my high school clothing that's all one size too big for me.

Back in the day I used to wear a pair of green sun-goggles, a black hoody with "New York" printed on it, Threadless T-Shirts or shirts that advertise things I like (clothing has been my ice breaker for a while), and I jump between cargo pants and jeans based on utility vs vanity. A lot of the older clothes are big on me as I was meant to "grow into them", but I guess thanks to sleep deprivation or something that was not in the cards for me. My shoes are also laceless, because why waste your time with that shit if the shoe can stay on without tightening and knots?

Nowadays I wear shirts with horizontal stripes, am aspiring to start printing my own designs, and otherwise try to have the clothes be more fitted on me. Now that I've lost some bulk I mind my figure comparatively less... but as long as it's a dude form I don't think I'll ever be happy with it.

I'm also on the hunt for a new zippy (hoody with a zipper), but none of them have looked worth identifying with for the next few years.
