Europe gangs lame asf compared to American or Latin gangs. Kid didn't even die
I would disagree, stabbing someone deep a few times up close its more risky and requires more heart than shooting from distance.

You could see it that way. What I see is less efficient and less fear from competitors(you'll be more scared of someone pulling up to gun you down than getting stabbed). The former gives you more fear for your life.

The gun's scarier than the one holding it at that point.

I think that's pretty irrelevant. The point isn't to scare you - but to kill you. It's so easy to pull a trigger and take someone's life. Most gangbangers in my group had bodies, and they were all so childish, it had no effect on them. Just business
Youre missing the point, even trained martial artists are scarred to go up against a knife. It makes the least skilled fighter a challenge. Plus its got the shock factor of an up close and personal struggle, with emotion and contact. "Heeres Johnny"
You'd be shitting your pants in a knife fight but dead in seconds from a gun you probably didnt see

this the point isnt to kill quickly and efficiently, it is if it does it in the most painful and horrorful way for the victim and also the assailant since he will have to hear the scraems of pain and begging of the victim.

Right. Ive heard from people who get shot that its like a flu shot except more painful and you can feel a deep pressure. Some guys in the military that have been shot multiple times even say its not that bad. So im gonna say that having a long rift as deep as a 7" kitchen knife is much more terrifying. Knife wounds are definitely more gruesome but one is not more deadly or efficient than the other, its all situational

What is the point of inducing fear if the goal is to kill? There are a lot of things that can go wrong in a knife fight, and many stab victims don't even die, such as the case above.
You both keep talking about fear. Mhm, I wouldn't care about that. I'd care about getting the job done. There's an emotional investment in wanting your victim to feel fear which I care nothing for. The way I see it: Guns kill faster, less proximity to the victim means less dna to go around, less things that can go wrong like during a struggle. You can get in, get out. Don't even have to get out of the car if you position correctly.
Give guns to those thugs above and they'll prefer them instead of knives. And the people who mention guns not being scary have never been staring down the barrel of a gun. In my experience, with a gun, you are planning on very possibly dying, and are much more compliant. With a knife involved, you know there's a possible chance you will live, you are not thinking about imminent death as much, rather, how you're going to handle the situation.
