Everyone generally agrees with my assessment of everyone else but themselves.

So that they can't know what I'm thinking.
Buttered Toast said:Trump's tweets/X posts have been all about "Comrade" Harris and about the border. It is interesting how she laughed when he called her and her parents Marxists. What do we think about that?
About her and her parents being Marxist or her laughing? The laughing was a heavily rehearsed response on her part.
I would've liked to see the debate without this mic muting thing, but in that case Kamala would've totally wrecked trump. It was smart of the Trump campaign to go with the Biden debate rules. Allowing Kamala the kawaii lawyer to prosecute Trump would've been a total smackdown, probably worse than that Axios interview. Trump has no inkling of how logical discourse works. He's in his element when he gets to ramble and speed past any questions over the credibility of his exaggeratex claims. When someone questions him, his showmanship, which is charismatic in speeches, then looks like he's a dumbass trying to explain to the American people how immigrants come from cultures where eating pets is the norm.
I certainly think Kamala is good at prosecuting, but I'd still say it's less clear how good she is at answering questions. She's very good at avoiding questions, because as a lawyer it's best to stfu if you don't know what you're talking about.
I can't wait to see how the campaigning changes, along with the slogans and issues they present. Stewart was right: going back to the default of "avoiding the question" is kind of funny, but familiar.
