Gather round, my friends, and bow down your head.
The place of events, is now sadly dead.
So many hours spent, was it all for nothing?
I can't help but mourn it, for it was surely something.
I guess at the end of the day I owe something to it, and I cannot deny that it made dark times
brighter...
Alas, all those posts will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.
I can't help but look back on my time on SC, and the past year, and there is absolutely no way
around the fact that it was a very important part of my life, it was my video games, my trip to the
movies, my basketball, my entertainment. And eventually, it was where I met the girl who would
later turn out to be my wife.
If anybody is fit to give it a tribute, it is me.
But out of respect for those whom were there before me, I will only retell things from what I
know, and from the time from my arrival on.
Still quite the task.... let me begin:
HISTORY OF SC, 2018-2019
Part I- Tension Rising
If I am to describe the state of affairs in SC around the time that I joined it, I would say that it
was one of a very tense nature, and it was clear as I spent more and more time there that two
distinct factions existed at once on the forum, and they were heading towards a showdown. At
the head of one side was Crave... from personal interactions with her as well as observing her
public image, she was a very driven one; good with words, confident, ambitious. But it was
hindered by a very severe and inflexible temper that could not accept criticism whatsoever. One
would find her old comments in topics quite combative on a rather regular basis, and there were
particular members she would choose to bash consistently. I point out these traits because they
tie into how things eventually culmimated. The other side of things, was Luna; equally confident
and ambitious, but less good with words and with the same temper as Crave.... and she owned
the forum. The crux of the matter- Jim, a highly charasmatic troll who made the decision to post
child porn on a regular basis, provoking Luna's ire. Her campaign to ban him at every chance
was weighing heavy on Crave and her closest associates, whom Jim had brought totally into his
corner. Among these associates were Turncoat; one of the moderators at this time. Turncoat
was transgender, and in love with Jim. If I recall correctly, Crave considered him a romantic
partner as well. Xadem was another one, a shitposter and a spammer who quite enjoyed Jim's
similar behaviors, much as his spam mentor TPG did, whom was another Crave associate. It
became clear to me over time that this Jim character was the real head of this group, and I was
more right than I knew. Other Crave associates were AliceInWonderland; who always seemed
neutral to me, and Alena; whom I later learned was one of Jim's personal playboy bunnies. I did
not really know what to make of it all at first, I had been plucked by Crave from another website
and thrown into a staging ground for a battle with no context. I was a neutral party at heart, but
since I was friends to Crave, I found myself gravitating towards her perspective. As for Luna's
side, at the top of the ranks was another moderator, Edvard, whom she appointed to head the
crusade against Jim, which he did diligently. Aside from him, this was it. When I joined SC, the
popular thing was to make posts targeting Edvard for banning Jim too much. I myself did not
partake, rather making shitposts more for myself. Eventually, Crave and co.'s attacks on Luna
and Edvard came to a head when, after a heated argument in live chat, Luna banned Crave and
Turncoat.... and most associated with them (but NOT me). And with this marked the end of that
time period on SC.
Part II- Edge Community vs SC
Following her banning from SC, Crave's immediate impulse was to create a discord server and
new forum for her and her fellow exile-ees. All that was in order was to come up with a name.
Well.... she WAS edgy, so why not Edge Community? Get it, because it's like Sociopath
Community but edgier? Anyway, her discord actually did get filled up pretty well, even Edvard
joined the mix and much to nobody's surprise, he became a commom target for mocking. I
myself even made memes of his avatar, not in bias but more for fun. But anyway, the discord
was quite hot for awhile, but over time, I began to lose interest in it (and its owner), and chose to
bide my own time elsewhere. I am unsure how long it took for SC to get members back and for
Edge Community to stagnate, but by the time I decided to take another peek on SC, people had
came back, and I began posting regularly again. I am not totally sure how it came to be, but
Edge Community eventually was deleted and Crave left and never came back to SC and its
people. I heard rumors about doxxings of Crave by Cadaver (or someone else?), but all I know
is that Crave eventually left for good. Well, Crave kicked up a lot of dust in her time there, guess
it was my turn....
Part III- The Golden Age Of Me
The time between late summer 2018 and January 2019 were the best times I had on SC, and
made a real difference in my life. It all started as a creative whim, a desire to craft posts of a
more.... elaborate nature. And so I did just that, and they were met by a resounding applause.
Every single day, I channeled my most articulate ideas into the posts I made and consequently
picked up much steam from them. Everybody loved me, even the ones who didn't. When Luna
introduced her senate race idea, I couldn't resist jumping into the fray. I came in swinging,
attacking my only opposing candidate and easily beating him until a harder opponent joined the
fray- MissCommunication. I fought long and hard against her, and her love interest Inquirer
campaigned hard against me (a MOD). It was a hell of a show, and I was the director of it.
Through a series of stylized and choreographed punches, I built hype around the election and
drew attention to it. I was on course to win until noted cheater koloss used puppets to vote
against me. But, while my race was more interesting, it was TPG vs Luna that had a bigger
impact. TPG beat Luna, plain and simple. TPG was banned shortly after winning, and Luna
claimed the title of senator for herself. This of course led to outcry and planted the seeds for the
next, more brutal explosion against her. Around this time I met my then-girlfriend "delora".
Delora had been around since when I joined, but before I had chalked her up to a troll, but
through conversations and many a chess match we formed a great connection. This would play
a huge roll later on. Now, people were still tense over Jim- Luna was getting angry at one of her
moderators, Inquirer, for not banning Jim enough. On top of it her constant fiddling with the
senate and "rep" angered many. Xadem's incessant complaints about making TPG senator led
to his eventual repeated banning and unbanning. One of the last big events on SC, was when
Delora ended up on a major livestream. This got SC temporary massive exposure (though not
what Luna wanted) and a major spectacle for everyone to see. This was followed immediately
by me meeting her and eventually over time, engaging to and marrying her. In this period of
time some bastard named Waltz decided to dox her, and I was feeling rather wrathful. Thus
ended my "golden age".
