So yeah sharing is out of the question. Never share a person that belongs to you. They are your possession and you have a right to protect your property.
People aren't possessions or property. What if they want to be with the other person and you at the same time?
Then I don't wanna be with them and I leave them. Disposable garbage.
Then maybe you didn't love them after all if you can so quickly dispose of them? Maybe you enjoy the thrill of keeping them rather than having an emotional bond with them.
They decided to work improperly like a broken laptop when they wanted someone else. Why would I keep a broken laptop? Why would I keep the corpse of someone I loved? I'm not into necromancy. Once they're broken they're broken (or had some false labeling where I ordered the wrong product). Does it mean I never loved my laptop? Oh I loved it while it worked. I don't love the broken pieces of a corpse.
Maybe your behavior has them searching for someone less stifling, you can't posses a person not really- not fully. Love is patient and kind.
You're acting like there's a real person now lol. I wouldn't suggest turning to victim blaming. It all started with the song "Unfaithful by Rihanna". In the lyrics it says "Every day I see him die a little more inside". It made me realize that cheating is a form of murder. It's psychological murder instead of physical. A part of them dies... Nothing justifies murder. They don't like it? Better to break up. If I leave them it's a mercy compared to what they deserve.
Then you can't really claim these things
