The wah missing persons cases are handled is sickening

Don’t watch this if you do not want to be deeply distributed and upset.

this is honestly very fucking messed up what happened to this girl so, it’s not for the faint of heart. Rather horrific.

so just a warning on that. This is severely disturbing and will likely haunt you the rest of your life.

but seriously...

the way this case was handled, is absolutely disturbing

and of course I am deeply saddened by this case

I watch this kind of content honestly because I find it interesting but there is nothing entertaining or interesting about this, this is just very very, very sad

and is a very unfortunate tragedy.

tragedy.

and law enforcement failed her and her family greatly. Should be very ashamed, and very guilty.

No matter what excuse they have.

and I hope someone sees to it personally that changes are made in this area of police work...

She wants to get scientific about hypothermia but won’t talk abojt blood alcohol level to decision making clearity of mind state ratio

this is everything in this case

there are plenty of people who are drunk enough to be unable to walk straight who still have the ability to tell they are about to walk into a freezer

it seems as if she is looking for something.

what is she looking for.

why did she leave her friends without her phone and her keys.

why were they the ones to get it for her.

Where were they planning on going.

why won’t Theresa give up the phone.

was this not an accident but a suicide?

was she told to wait there for something? Or to meet someone?

when you get off on the wrong floor that isn’t the lobby you know it. And you get back in the elevator.

What was she looking for. Or who.

perhaps her friends were going to go down there for some reason, and she decided to go without them

out of some motive.

That’s what’s missing here is, phone data and motive.

But also the phone data of the friends and interrogation would clear up a lot of questions I have there.

And why wouldn’t the crown just give them the security footage, that’s typical but,... why was the construction site locked after she wandered in...

there is no footage of anyone locking it like Stephanie said so either this is a fabricated detail or the tapes have been altered.

Also would of been interesting to see tapes leading up to her disappearance, what went on down there, weeks in advance. Everyday. What was going on in there.

freezers getting left on... that just costs them money. A locked construction site... down in the basement... with a locked freezer left running.

it just sounds insanely creepy.

also I agree the second I saw the photos it did not look like someone who simply froze to death.

she looked abused, tortured.

I think she knew something and someone wanted information from her, poured water on her or something to mess up her hair (a few drips from the cieling isn’t enough to get the full head of hair frizzed up, and cold weather straightens hair further btw)

and it doesn’t make sense why she would be that dirty and messed up and tangled looking

Why wasn’t the area swept for finger prints and DNA as well as her body... and I would listen to the forensic report and analysis and look at up close detailed photos of the body

especially the face.

You can also analyze stress levels in the blood essentially through cortisol and adrenaline... had she wet herself etc... these are signs of torture or fear..like she was running from someone.

Did she lock herself in there because she was trying to hide??

I would interview everyone involved. Everyone in that hotel that night. Everyone.

and track down the people who worked there investigate their lives...

perhaps they still are and we just don’t know it.

if the area was truly locked after she was deceased, she was definitely murdered.

But at this point there is so much lying and hiding going on, and swaying of stories and truths from every perspective and part involved, that it’s difficult to know what happened.

the crown is just trying to not get sued. The lawyer is after money. The mother is hiding the phone. And the police... what are they doing? Investigating or... ? letting it go cold?

anyway... what a fucking mess.

perhaps the girl was dealing drugs and that’s why the mother hid the phone. Or the mother was involved with dealing drugs or some other corrupt scheme, or someone she knew was involved with it and there was record on the phone and she knew if they found it, it would be turning them in, and would in return get her killed perhaps even or someone she knew killed

You don’t just hide phones from the police like this unless you are guilty.

This case makes me sick

I think that it was a staff member and I think she was murdered

he likely told her to go to a certain place for a certain thing

and then did this to her

There would of been plenty of opportunity for a staff member to take advantage of this situation

perhaps they even had connection to them and that is what got them the clearance to stay past noise complaints and throw wild parties with people spilling into the hallway and literally illegal drugs everywhere

the fact they weren’t kicked out says that someone in that party had close ties to a staff member there

perhaps the crown wasn’t trying to avoid getting sued but they were protecting something going on that was a little more sinister

business is hard these days... hotel management are some of the greediest and shadiest people around... debts get owed... connections get made... to people who are corrupt

it all comes down to money and something the hotel is involved with

I think the activist was onto something and that’s why he wanted to stay in the hotel himself

he’s a smart man, there is no benefit to doing this related to a murder unless it’s related to a conspiracy against the hotel or the staff or something going on in that hotel

he was investigating but made the mistake of not going undercover

but its possible he was just after money as it did unfold he was keeping money for himself but perhaps he was using it to fund the top secret investigation aka undercover PI’s going in and staying in the hotel or infiltrating the staff

it’s a pricey endeavor, investigation is.

It’s not common for activists to be money hungry, money hungry people find other lines of work than activism.

i think he was genuinely tipped off about something going on on the inside.

The 911 call is deffinately concerning. The call takes place after 7, and the mother expliciately states that her daughter had not been seen since 3 am, but the operator doesn't take her concerns seriously at all.

I've heard about this story before, very unfortunate.
