Lucifer was flawless which in part lead to his pride and arrogance.
He was the best. Smarter stronger, more glorious in every concievable way than the others. God's masterpiece.
He wanted more and he got it. Followers who came to think he should be above God. A war for heaven broke out in an attempt to seize God's throne.
Michael wasn't having it. Lucifer took the form of a Dragon in an attempt to defeat him, but Michael is something else. Maybe God worked through Michael or maybe Michael was just made to break Lucifer's ass which he ended up doing, before Michael and his army cast the fallen ones onto the Earth.
I once had a profound experience. In short I can describe it as a large demon coming toward me and a magnificent gauntlet came down and smashed it. I don't know who's mighty fist that was, it looked almost robotic, but clearly armored in silver and gold, or brass or something like that.
If anything it could have been Michael himself as Michael isn't just heaven's bouncer, but he'll escort souls and deliver them to God personally, why him ? Maybe there's some brutal realities going on in the place we can't physically sense. One might ask, how would Michael have the time. There is no time over there.
