I have been researching into narcissism a lot lately, and I realized that by definition narcissism is a FALSE sense of self and fantasies of goals that CANNOT be actualized. Come to think of it, I don't fit that mold. My sense of self is pretty realistic. I don't feel entitled when I'm not. I may be arrogant but I only cite things about me that are true to support my arrogance. For instance, my SC posts really do take a lot of effort and it really does get recognized. It doesn't make me a grandiose jerk to acknowledge that. My career field of choice really is high pay, and I really do plan to shoot sky high within realistic constraints of design and make something truly special to share with the world. Yes, I think I very well could profit from it, and when I do I likely will be wealthy. These goals aren't grandiose, they're realistic. Sure I haven't done it yet but I have very real plans to actualize this. My sense of self and confidence are sourced from these ambitions. It's not narcissistic, it's pro growth.
I'm not a narcissist, I'm on the road to self actualization.
