So, turns out that it was a nativist Hawaiian that told me that all UH schools only let out of state students take 1 class. Apparently I can take as many as I want. Therefore, my loans will not go into repayment if we move. Therefore, we can go. Delora is very happy. The stipulation is that we must go to Oahu, not the big island because only the Oahu campus has an EE program. So, that being settled, I have created a massive plan for the next decade of my life. Here it is-
THE PLAN said:1. Go to my Ohio college this semester and raise my GPA.
2. Save money through the summer.
3. During the same summer, apply for/register for classes at UH Manoa on Oahu and get room and board secured.
4. Attend school for a full year, saving money along the way on the side until the full 13 months to become a resident are complete. During this time we should also be on an apartment search for a solid place close to the campus to cut out room and board costs.
5. Continue living and going to school until completion of degree, saving money the whole time.
6. Split the savings- 1/2 going to an upfront loan payment, 1/2 going to a piece of land somewhere in the state of Hawaii.
7. Move to Florida for lower income taxes and use degree to get high pay electrical engineering job. Stay in Florida until loans are paid off AND some money is saved up for the return to Hawaii.
8. Move back to Hawaii once a job there is secured and begin developing the land we own.
9. Once said land is as developed enough to live on, move onto it.
10. Jasmine can start her dream garden, I can move up in my career or start my own company.
11. Happy ever after everyone wins
