i just had a brilliant idea, why don't i make fake chanel, hermes, tiffany boxes

and fake versions of some of their favorite jewelry and sell it on etsy

will i go to prison

let me know thanks

(giving customers full and very CLEAR notice that it's faux not authentic)

was watching this when i came up with the idea

people love these bags for like instagram or for presents and they boxes, the ribbon, all of it

and you can literally make that like so easily

also i could make my own clothing inspired by chanel just for fun and see if it sells

my mom has a sewing machine and stuff

they also buy chanel or vogue books etc, to decorate their homes with. those like boujee disique candles or whatever, they're really expensive but not hard to dupe for people who just want it for that aesthetic

i could make so much money lmfao

You can get sued.

what about just the boxes and bags? the whole packaging

made to look authentic for someone who wants to maybe regift an old purchase or selling it online and want to send it off to the person in a chanel box

or like if i was 12 and you gave me a tiffany box with a necklace inside that wasn't technically tiffany i really wouldn't of known the difference and would of felt like i got something special

so it's good for kids too

and for the gram

Yeah... off-brand rip offs tend to work better in third world countries trying to sell to cheap tourists.

Edit: I suppose street markets like some booths I've seen in New York somehow get away with off brand mimics of popular brands, but the name is always something close to the original instead of trying to make out like it's identical.

Go for it.

Why not have beautiful merchandise made and on the website make it look comparatively better than the others.

I once knew a guy who got filthy rich off of supplying department stores with fake jewelry.

Cheap to make. Hell. You can make more selling cheap stuff.

what if i made chanel inspired clothing

that is not at all a copy like, my own designs but clearly in similar aesthetic to chanel

that's perfectly legal

that could be really fun
