What was your favourite subject in school user o baka-san?
It was math at first, then programming. My school days were fun. Didn't really care much for the other subjects. I absolutely hated physics despite liking math, which is kinda weird.

Yes and and no. Solving a challenging math puzzle is fun. Going deep into math theory, and learning a ton of stuff that can then be applied in a shallower/easier way is not so fun. When the shift goes from aiming to prove stuff yourself to aiming to just understand others' proofs and move on, it stops being fun.
