I came across the 'Charles Manson Speaks' video for the first time in about 6 or so years,
I remembered I thought he was a complete genius and on another level intellectually when I was younger, but now watching him at an older age I've realised he was entirely delusional, insane, and simply blabbers nonsensical bullshit which is frequently mistaken for deep wisdom - everything he says is entirely superficial and there's nothing more to it than meets the eye, it just sounds clever because of the way he presents himself and speaks
Looking at the comments on the page there are many others with the belief that he's a genius, in the same shoes I wore back then. He is confident and exceptionally articulate, and it suckers stupid people like myself into believing there's something deeper to him, but it's all just bullshit
It's interesting how your perception of a person can entirely change with no new information on them being presented, but just down to yourself changing over time
