I've been having a terribly hard time trying to put this into words. I think I've been deceived and let me explain why.
TPG and I first met on the old SC, around October 2017. We got acquainted through a common set of friends and quickly grew to chat with each other daily. For the longest time we kept our respective identities hidden, as per the customs of the internet. We just goofed around and talked about anything on our minds, like friends do. But that was until something struck me last Friday.
It's always hard to distinguish between fact and fiction online, what's facetious and ironic or an unironic hint at something greater. We've always made funny jokes about race, religion, and basically any taboo subject under the sun. Up until the point where one could be harboring genuine hatred and the other would just be oblivious to it. Because it's right in their face. And that's exactly what I fear has happened to me.
I only just realised how foolish I was to trust this man. I've given him details about my life, my identity, the workings of my country etc. He's been blatantly honest about his intentions, which I merely wrote off as low-effort troll. Until he went too far and trusted me with vague desires to commit terrorist attacks that would "put those idiots of the bataclan attacks to shame". Now, there's only so much that I know, but I know enough to have reported him to the authorities for being a redicalised person. I am now posting this here so it's public and so you guys know too.
TPG is a French citizen of Algerian origin who goes by the name of Joachím (Jewish?). At least that's what he told me. He lives in some gosforsaken village north of Lyon and is preparing to go to college soon. He has a french mom and an algerian dad and he considers himself Arabic. I know much more but this is to give you a little insight into who this person is.
Next time you speak to him keep this in mind and know that he's been reported now and I sent everything to the authorities, I am writing and compiling literally everything start to finish and I am debating whether to reveal it after he's been dealt with or not.
