"5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."
WERENT THEY ALREADY MADE IN THE LIKENESS OF GOD, IN HIS IMAGE LOL. were they not already gods and like God?
how could they choose evil?
The Bible effectively says that by God being all knowing, he cannot sin.
...yet they also repeat that he's a Jealous God... so take that as you will.A lot of what splits us from God is similar to what splits God from Satan: Omnipotence, knowing all of time and space at once as if it were one moment, one place. It's completely alien to imagine how that'd be perceived.
says who? The BIBLE says they were made in his image and like God

The Bible said we were made in his image, much like how I could make a piece of art in the image of me.
Essentially, there's a resemblance.

It's hard to tell when the Bible is very clearly biased.
Considering that they were built without "The Knowledge of Good and Evil" (what they later learned from an apple), there's no telling how many other things have been withheld from us not having eaten other fruit in that garden.
