There'll be polls on it instead of discussing things with users as if they were equals, since polls help it not have to be an actual discussion which makes it easier on them... I guess, but that it took this much to even get this far, and to see some of the staff tantruming over it being brought to the forum? 

 The best thing about the poll- is we can include all discussed options and ideas - surely we have a variety after multiple threads and whatever you guys do in mod chat

Even with Meta acting childish like this with arguably toxic mod support behind him, he hasn't done nearly as much to warrant being "killed" as you had.

Exactly, instead they were just enforcing "what they think was already the case", so "nothing's changing guys, nothing to see here" is an easy narrative for them to give when they really mean that they aren't changing what they've been doing as opposed to the originally agreed upon praxis. 

"No rules are changing" when mods are otherwise not on the same page and all doing different things from each other is fucking sloppy. 

Otherwise we have Meta saying stuff like "TC will not win" from figuring this is some sort of game before acting even more emotional... I guess? He can't even take the position seriously, calling it all "a circus" to not have to deal with the weight of this, and even his solution, while it will give us votes, is one he has chosen to take for this to avoid actually having to talk to us beyond mockery. 

tc is just trying to revert the dox rules to their original intent..

sometimes i get these deja vu moments when i post on this forum
