This is a unique community, not quite like any other. The closest I've seen is the old PF AsPD community (people like Tempo, Myers, JOMP, wooster, etc.). But PF can't be what it used to be after the LittleArcher incident. We have a corner of the Internet that not only rejects censorship, but even encourages expression that would get you banned other places. I think that is worth something.
If you feel shafted by the responsibility you hold here, I don't blame you. If revenue is an issue, I have no trouble giving support when I have a regular income again, which should be within 3 months. I've also been pro-ads for a long time, although I understand opinions on that will be mixed. If you find that the actual programming workload is an issue, I don't mind to help. I know CSS, a decent amount of JS, and I'm learning SASS. I could easily create different themes with styling and other front-end stuff. In fact I did earlier today with inspect element, but some of the elements are stubborn (I'm guessing PHP is involved). I don't mind helping out with back-end either if you feel that could be useful. I know basic PHP/MySQL but I could focus on it more if it would help out here.
In short, it's a cool place. If you feel cheated in your position, don't mind saying so. Several of us here are interested in seeing the place maintained and improved over time.
Why should I do anything?
Discuss.I want to hear reasons that make sense. Let us peek into the void.
Indeed, why even get out of bed in the morning?

Don't worry about it Tryp, I am fine with it, I was just asking out of curiosity. If you want to help tho, maybe you could in the future. The site uses C# not PHP tho.
The alternative is dying of starvation.
Harder than it sounds to do on purpose.
