I've seen some exceptions...
One of my closer friends at college got rejected by a woman, for another woman, the day after he set up a romantic scavenger hunt for her across campus.
His mistake was in having the other woman be the one helping him with said scavenger hunt, plus she moved alongside her during the search to make sure she "wouldn't get too off track on the hunt".
It was literally the next day, and those two are still in a relationship like... a decade later.
In the above case, this is a man being turned down for another woman. We even have BR's story as a basis where a woman left her family to be with another woman.
"Oh she stole my heart with her high milage vagina, short dyed hair, harry potter glasses, and 4th grader little boy features." -no man ever
There's guys desperate enough to go for so much worse than this.
