Recording a video chat between you and one of them would be pretty damning evidence.

Written text can be spoofed, recorded phone message on your machine could be anyone, but video? 

Video can't really be argued to be spoofed unless you really, really went out of your way with Adobe AfterEffects or something.

I know how it works, and it'd be fairly easy to see through with where our software is right now. 

I could even do a live webcam of opening and email or using Twitter, there are ways to prove its not a fake 100 percent but i doubt I would care to go to that much effort

How much effort is it to be in a video call with someone? 

I know I avoid it out of social discomforts with people I'm not that-kinda-close with yet, but barring that kind of difficulty it's pretty easy to do *and* fairly easy to record your doing it.
