This is something I was working on and just didn't finish, I'm no artist, I tried to combine inspirations from Death Korps, WW1 Germans, and other concept art, some stuff I was looking at was concept art of Overwatch Transhuman Arm Soldiers from Half Life Universe. 
my other one was me directly drawing over an image of a pickelhaube, and then a M.1918 Lederschutzmaske
the original image is to big in file size, so i screencapped it which will kill some of it's details, but oh well.
edit: I believe that's the model of gasmask, the one I looked at was a reproduction, so idk

Huh, your side profiles remind me a bit of Sean Murphy's work with elements of Peter Chung body types... but with a face that feels like it's somewhere between Dale out of King of the Hill and Wesker from Resident Evil with some sort of Old West duster.
