Yeah Congress and your Parliament are really giving a fuck about climate change.

Of course they care.

Politicians always care about topics everyone has an opinion on but knows very little about.

Other planets in the solar system have been warming too, while the Sun burns hotter.

But here on planet Earth it's our fault while science argues which theory on carbon emmisions trapping heat is right, we'll just be carbon taxed.

i get it, these kids are inheriting a fucked up mess caused by generations of the past. accelerated climate change, dying oceans. whats it going to hurt if we stop burning coal and other fossil fuels? someones bank account? seems the lesser of two evils to me.

severe climate change has happened before on earth. just seems we are accelerating the inevitable at a rate that will affect the food change. get to prepping for bad times.

The 16-year-old climate activist arrived in New York on Wednesday in a zero-carbon emissions sailing boat, completing her 15-day voyage from Britain to take part in a UN climate summit. 'It was a bit rough sometimes but it went incredibly well, and I didn't feel seasick, so I was extremely lucky,' she told reporters

'Let's do it now': Greta Thunberg crosses Atlantic and calls for urgent climate action

i was impressed that she sailed to New York carbon free. although the sailing was just a statement, hard to argue with that young woman.
