Progressive rock- When I hear progressive rock I envision rapid bursts of different colors at different rates and then it starts radiating in different fractal patterns that occasionally burst into a cornucopia of colors. When I hear the flutes I see the notes whisping like smoke and curling around.
Metal- With metal I see purple and black streaks that flash like lightning, and with solos I see a constant beam of lightning bending with the notes.
Synthwave- I see purple bursts going in a rhythmic pattern, which give way to flashes of notes that look like purple comets with a long tail. I also see common imagery associated with synthwave.
Rap- I see various colors depending on the tone (red for gangsta rap, black for drill, many colors for experimental, purple for crunk) of the song make various shapes and patterns that change with the beat.
Country- I see twinges of tan and brown with the plucks of the acoustic guitar.
