Considering most music I listen to is Martial Industrial, Heavy Metal, Classical, and Folk all pertaining mostly to the themes of history and politics and military, like for example communist folk music, or soviet military marches. I tend to not hear most songs of today or block them out, that doesn't mean I don't know modern songs, I just tend to not remember their names until I hear them, like when I was younger I listened to some System of The Down, or Eminem or other things.
For some reason, I enjoy listening to some of these songs, even though I don't feel any connection to the song itself, I just like the beats and the voice of the singing I suppose.
For some reason most of them that come on my radio are love songs, so yea, but they are interesting to hear, especially since I've listened to some of Halsey's older songs that I like for some reason such as...
