I gather you picked up that term while playing that game with Chapo.

Nerf means downgrade. A developer might think a skill or ability or item is too powerful, so the subject gets nerfed.

It's pretty standard for rogue classes and classes that can modify their own health and mana a little too well. 

...either that or something's hitting too hard.
