I reject psychobabble

A common thing I see in SC is people who claim to be authorities on the subject of my personality but are not, try to tell me that the thoughts and feelings I express here are compensatory for a great beneath the surface insecurity. Basically, they think they can read my mind and tell me that because a psychology textbook taught them how to pretend to be able to read my mind and tell me how I feel deep down without proof or evidence. What a joke. It's kind of gaslighting if you think about it. They take the likes of Frued as all knowing Gods and use their holy psychobible to claim to know what is going on in my head. Well I will tell you right now, you cannot read my mind, and I am sincere. Just because you envy my confidence does not mean you have to pretend it is fake. In the meantime, address the fakeness of your own self proclaimed humility and just embrace how you really feel about yourself like I do, and if you are truly low in confidence, find something you are good at rather than punching up at me. I believe in all of yours abilities to become like me, it just takes some work. Rock on SC.

How much research have you done on "Psychobabble" before your dismissal of it?

Maybe everyone can read your mind and you’re in denial.

I have done more research on narcissism than anyone and I do not fit the trope. For example my childhood was not abusive. If anything my parents encouraged and reminded me of my intelligence. Nothing happened to shatter any "true self" I have always been me. An idea I had is that my Asperger's may just manifest as narcissistic seeming but be part of that in some way.

So you're judging the entire field based on your limited understanding of two disorders?

My understanding of them is vast. I subscribed to Dr Todd Grande just to learn more about the coventional view on narcissism and I have done endless research on autism

What other disorders have you looked into other than Autism and Narcissism?

What about them do you have things against for labeling?
