I recently saw Herbie in concert with the dude who produces for Kendrick Lamar and a bunch of other polished names. 

He started the show with "Are you guys ready to get weird?". 

Edit: 
"An all-star band featuring Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, James Genus on bass, Lionel Loueke on guitar and multi-instrumentalist Terrace Martin will accompany Hancock on the road for the duration of the dates."

They played in Wolf Trap Virginia like two months and I was bummed I missed it.

His band was pretty... ehhhh, but they had him play with Herbie's band for one of the encores and he was a very solid player.
