It's all about ruining the magic of "feels guud" films and analyzing the subtitles of the underrated. It's about true taste and appreciation for the medium.

Yes, it ruins the illusion for them to look behind the curtain, a place I find myself shackled for movies if I am not on high doses of LSD.

In seriousness though it's more of a matter of taste. I can't just watch people eat shit without grimacing and explaining how and why it's wrong to do that like a depraved dog.
