is this... good? anyone, watched this?
i watched the entire thing just to see what would happen.
in my opinion it's decent but a little cheesy at parts, or boring. like the psychological information they're unveiling about psychopaths isn't anything "new" that like no one hasn't heard of before.
it's more of a historical documentation of how the discovery of this condition was first developing and stuff. so if you're curious about the hollywood version of the story it is entertaining.
it is based on true events so that's cool. and they interview manson at one point so, that was really cool to see. like, obviously an actor playing manson but. nontheless seeing it come to life on screen was just kind of iconic- and they interviewed several other iconic psychopaths haha just for fun.
but the rest of it was boring and cheesy.
the second case is about the unraveling of a specific case they're focused on, and the rest if just filler.
and yeah, then they come to the end of the case and then the season ends without any plot twists but, it's once again jsut a historical documentation of a case that actually happened. and if you're interested in the history of it, and seeing that sort of come to life in the time and place it took place- it's very fun to watch i dunno, it's kind of pretty. like, cinemagraphic.
the style. i mean.
i like things that have a little art to them you know, stylized. so that was nice. not just so boring and basic and what not.
has a noir thriller tinge to it, ontop of like, 70's nostalgia and something else, like, mystery/horror like... sort of fish eye lense type of stuff.
a lot of death in it so if that bothers you,... um. you're going to see a lot of dead bodies. it's gore.
