I'm sure they *would* take her in, but she seemed adamant that she would rather live homeless abroad with a bastard child than go back to her family in the states.
My personal theory is that she did go home though. Members of her family were contacted by delora, and her sister was in cancer community for 2 days so this means her family is aware of Sociopath community. They are probably getting her help and strongly encouraging her to stay away.
