Currently, I am creating a feature that will allow users to invite other users. This invitation will auto-approve them and will let them create an account at any time.
People will still be able to register without an invite, but they will have to be approved and may have to wait to register.
Only hand-picked users, that we know won't abuse this system, will be allowed to create invites.
Each of these users will be allowed to create up to 10 invites. Once an invite is used, he will have another free invite spot.
Invites will expire after 1 week, once an invite expires it will free up an invited slot as well.
Invites can be tracked, so if someone abuses the system, we will know who it was.
