You have to be right. A reason behind his crazy actions could be that David chose to be someone that everyone hates. Psychopaths are hated. Who wants to be friends or date a psychopath?

 I agree completely. I see this very apparently. Very very apparently. 

Some people grow up learning, that they are “bad” and hostile, and it just ingrains the behavior.

I believe the emotion is redirected at others, but I see pain- which is covered with narcissism. 

This is subconscious way of confronting and dealing with the stuff inside that he cannot consciously recognize within himself because it is buried. He separates himself from it by being narcissistic, and directing or projecting hatred and disdain onto others. 

The hostility like i said is learned behavior, “this is who I am” 

when really, it’s not, it’s just who you *think* you are.

and lastly, a psychopath never plays defense. 

He is always playing defense, but puts himself above everyone as a way to make it seem like he’s not really fighting with anyone because it doesn’t matter to him.

And yet, he is still responding to it- so obviously, there was a trigger there. He doesn’t realize that this makes him look pathetic and toyed with. A big shiny new toy for reaper and people like reaper to play with. 

Giving them a show, just what they want.

he thinks this is a means to winning an argument, which gives him satisfaction, but if he were a psychopath he would realize he is playing along like a puppet on a string just the way reaper wants him to. 

If he were a psychopath, he would of had reaper wrapped around his finger if that’s what he wanted.

i sense there is a striving for intimacy here. He calls them to show their faces,  as if he almost longs to be with these people in person- or has thought about what it might be like. 

Psychopaths don’t care about intimacy, but they do care about being seen- but only for things they are proud of. 

To feed the ego.

This didn’t look like, feeding the ego, as much as he wanted it to be. 

“Look at me, I’m a psychopath. I’m a narcissist.” (Begging for these things to be recognized is a sure sign, these qualities aren’t present in an individual) 

It looked more like, a bruised little boy. Which is why he made a reference to the sixth grade boy. Despite reaper being an older female woman, around his age likely. 

He feels a connection to reaper. He wants reaper to recognize and validate his hostile, psychopath, narcissist bad boy attitude- to make it real for himself. 

But in reality, he’s just running from the pain of a sixth grade boy- trapped inside himself. 

This wasn’t an ego boost, it was a crying bruised child, covered by a screaming covert narcissist. Who has coped with some nasty shit, and self guilt, by doing nasty things.

The looking to the side is thing he does frequently while talking is a way of “checking” his own words and his reflection subconsciously. This is rooted in insecurity. 

You can tell the way he speaks it is forced, he’s not authentically being himself. He’s playing a role- for himself. 

P.Dave has some logic. He is placing his face out there and calling out everyone who talks shit and behaves tough behind the keyboard. Like he said, it’s pretty easy to sit all day on your chair talking shit instead of meeting him.

Also the very making of this thread was acting on emotion, which he was so uncomfortable with sitting with he’d rather do all of this, to distract himself from the bothersome urging need to be “right”- in order to make himself feel and remain powerful, and in control- but also to make sure others know, this too. To convince himself- they know this, or perceive this. 

When in reality, they don’t. 

And, people who make goodbye threads are seeking attention usually, and lurk, then always come back.
