It's either her or Legga. She's already making puppets for herself on her own forum, and this "Luna" immediately knew what I was talking about by name instead of wasting time having to look up what I meant. It knew her schedule, it knew a lot of things way more than I give credit to the majority of this userbase. I've had a teetering obsession at points and I don't think I could do it that level of justice.
As I said before, if this isn't her this dude deserves a medal.
I agree, the imitation is uncanny, but I doubt Luna would be so active and communicative here. She tends to go for isolation in these situations.
You never watched her hours when she's triggered.
She actually almost keeps up with me.
TPG for BZ senator tbh
As is it looks like there's less regular members than there's likely to be seats.
A senate led by Luna, Spatial, Xena, and Billy...
the creator / programmer is always in charge...
even if they let someone else think they are in charge... the programmer is always in charge because they have the power
he who controls the files controls the website!
like back when crave thought she was in charge.... lol look crave is gone but EC is still here.. just renamed
this is the exact reason why everyone left.
you're delusional luna, this isn't a dictatorship and you let your fictional idea of power go straight to your head.
believing you were in charge is what ruined your website.
people like us don't want to be led. we don't want to be told what to do. we don't want to conform to stupid molds you stole from society and implemented into your poorly constructed website.
stop worrying about senate, and think about what's actually lucrative for the site and what the people actually want.
leadership is more cooperation than it is anything, and you never could understand that.
you need to admit that you are a programmer, and you can't do it all. you can't lead, you can't come up with marketing tactics to create traffic, and your programming was sub par at that.
this is just being totally honest.
if you wanted your website to succeed you have to consider an organized staff, a team of trusted people who can collaborate to make your site what's best for the site itself, not just everything you want all the time.
I suggested this ages ago predicting the sites downfall and you didn't listen to me. instead you wanted me to design a PM system, which took six months to implement, and when you implemented it- it was wrong. you didn't run it by me before hand, and so everyone hated it. it wasn't what I designed, it was a shotty version of what I came up with conceptually.
when people started the SC, I suggested this same concept of having a team of people that collaborate together to make the new SC as best as it can be, but the "mods" wanted all the power to themselves.
however they are lackadaisical, Luke warm. They lack the passion and drive to create anything successful, and are thinking with their own prerogatives rather than what's best for the site. Hang ups, as we call them. Everyone argues over their own hangups, and we get no where in the process.
Meanwhile, the website declines, and declines.
I've also designed the new SC in its entirety and have it ready to go, since way back when I was mod on old SC.
But after I was weaseled out of being mod by Delora, who framed me solely because she was jealous I was tryptamines girlfriend and wanted to destroy me?, and so after that point, it really made me not want to contribute my creative energy toward something that wasn't going to include me as a team member at the very least.
I was repeatedly shat on in the SC server, I tried to ask for what the people wanted, but Good kept derailing instead of supporting me- trying to take control, take his own suggestions, instead of trusting me- an *actual* paid, working professional trained designer.
At the time when you knew me Luna, I was just a student. But now I am working in marketing and design professionally.
Anyway, I could of made this a lot better to use for people, there were some kinks to be worked out, but first I wanted to take suggestions on what people wanted. In that process I was derailed so much by Good, and I Tryptamine and Good, and other mods didn't seem to be supporting me, or contributing in any fashion to the furthering of the design work-
and then Tryptamine finally said to me one night, that my design would just be an optional theme- and that's when I completely lost interest and just let it go.
That, and the constant bombardment of filth, it's made me not really want to participate in something like this anymore.
If you could clean up your act a bit, get a little more organized, we could have a very functional and smooth running place, and we could focus on maximizing traffic and make it a lot of fun for everyone.
Instead, it's just nosediving while we all argue it goes up in flames. Do the math, do the analytics. It's going into the ground. It's basic probability and statistics you can predict the future based on charting numbers.
People need to accept that as a team, we are better. Then alone. But without cooperation, it's no longer an establishment, and people don't feel like they are much a part of something. Which, that initial sense of "community" on old SC 3 is what drew most people and kept them returning all those years ago.
Now where have they all gone? They've lost interest. I wonder why.
Do the math.
If it aint broke, don't fix it. If it doesn't generate revenue or in your case, traffic- kill it. Immediately, re-strategize with your team, and move on as quickly as possible.
You even admitted that the Senate idea was your own personal experiment. You had your own prerogatives, motives, and interests in mind. It wasn't for the betterment of the site, it was to entertain you. You enjoyed the power and control, and it's what stifled the entire community, and made it a breeding ground for toxicity.
When you have bad intentions or are doing something in a corrupt fashion, toxicity will always, be a byproduct. It builds like an undercurrent and kills anything it touches.
In business, in relationships, in communities. When you do not have pure intentions, it ruins things. Naturally, like a law of physics almost.
Well, they did just purge the undesirables... Rebuilding takes time. They can create a true utopia now :)
Rebuilding takes cooperation.
and I agree, purge the undesirables that aren't contributing anything but filth.
It's not about utopia, it's about community, belonging, and ultimately fun and entertainment.
We can't just say, "ah yeah, let's rebuild"
and then sit on our asses.
Who's actually *doing* the action of rebuilding. Why aren't we learning from our mistakes. Why aren't we consciously sitting down and cooperating as a team of members, to *create* something.
rebuilding is an action, it won't happen naturally.
All things naturally decay. Entropy.
