I don't know why you can't see their perspective.

Oh just like you couldn't see my perspective when my dildo video was spammed over 300 times basically in a row by people you had modded and none of them were demodded?:) oh ok riiiight I'm starting to see how it works now:)
I was on your side about that. The thing is, people dox all the time there, but most don't know about the takedown rule. So if they continued to do so that after, that would have been a problem. They're demodded now anyways though.

Ephemeral was/is still mod, Adolf modded him without your permission like a couple hours before that happened that is why there was a "Mod for Ephemeral" role that you never put there and ephemeral was spamming my vid along with adolf and others, but i like eph as mod as long as he doesn't continue to abuse it
im saying be fair, not demod everyone, but in order to be fair i shouldn't have been demodded ever period
I'll try to be concise.
On the server there are some bots. They can be made to be restricted to channels or have limited functionality, and we could go all-out and make DJ roles, Nadeko roles, etc. But we opted to make it so instead of limiting the bots, we just tell people to fuck off if they are clearing playlists, or spamming hangman in the general chat. If they listen, they listen. If they don't, we don't want them around anyways and we kick them, and eventually ban them if they don't learn.
When it comes to the music bots there are some pretty simple guidelines. The main idea is that if people are using it, you don't fuck with it by clearing a queue or skipping. People were in the room talking and listening to the bot, and from her side of the story, they were complaining about the music.
She decides to move the bot and put another one in there, because she was thinking "if they are complaining, I am fixing it by doing this." It's not a totally unreasonable thought process, but for the people who have been hanging out there for the last few months, it was decided long ago that if you don't like a bot or a user, you turn down the volume for it on your end. The idea is that no one in particular dictates, everyone active is on the same page with this. Everyone there was pissed because they were using the thing and she moved it. Instead of finding a middle ground, she doubled down on it and started fighting with everyone else and they were all having a tug-of-war with the thing. It was a pretty asinine situation.
Most of them didn't need to be mod. They were given it so we could see what they would do after begging to be one, even though we needed none. That being said, none of them actually abused it except Aubrieta and Adolf. Because of the potential for more unnecessary calamity in the future that I get stuck cleaning up, things are streamlined to the original cast.
The main reason that CC isn't active is because there are some new servers (Aizen's, Circle of Love, Dumpster, Curiosity Circle, The Table) where the influx of new things and new people draw attention. I have also not been on Discord much these last few weeks. These are positive things, not negatives. Having a large and active server was never my intention, I just wanted a corner of the internet where people could be less restrained. :)
How does this negate topic title or OP?
You're trying to justify your paranoia.
For most people (me excluded), they have a huge incentive to post in a server and invite friends if they're mods there.
With that said, the server was functioning well with 20 mods, who had a month of time to nuke the server, but didn't. Why should they today?
You had taken the risk of modding a lot of people, you undid your gain by demodding those who were capable of holding the power.
CC was active considering the server owner was gone for a long time, because of this mod PR. But yeah, demodding was the last nail to the coffin.
I wasn't worried about people nuking. I was tired of cleaning up messes and dealing with messages of people complaining about who is mod, when I really just go on there to have a laugh. If demodding people who don't need it is a "nail in the coffin" in exchange for avoiding even more possible nonsense, then so be it.

There's no way you got complaints about every single one you demodded. You already admitted paranoia "Because of the potential for more unnecessary calamity in the future that I get stuck cleaning up, things are streamlined to the original cast." SO SHUT THE FUCK UP.
