my poem about how life has seasons

hullo says the rain on a Wednesday afternoon
in the patchwork of the summer days that must end so very soon
in the midway of the wintertime underneath decembers moon
in the shortness of the springtime and the changing of the fall
hence the leaves they die but colors make them most radiant of all
the changing of the seasons, come and go without reason
and some may see the change and cry out that it is a treason
but sometimes things must come and go no matter how big or how small
for the lovely leaves may whither but are glorious in fall

the cold of winter nips upon my toes with frostbites sting

and in its icy waters i had dropped a diamond ring

it let out its final breath but no one heard a thing

but all shall hear in heaven when my little diamond sings

high above this wicked world with little cherub wings

and down here i stand so confused not knowing anything

the bitter winters close around me under freezing ice and snow

as my feelings start to be numbed by the ice and soon they go

but as all things as mother earth she takes away and gives

mother nature can be cruel about whom dies and whom does live

for the gift of life is not for all but only is for few

and once death comes to take a soul, then no one can undo.

and so a single flower grows again now from the ground

and though earths life before was dead and didnt make a sound

winter left to slumber and now spring is young again

and so it is the end to numbness and the end to pain

the sun begins to warm my toes the grass grows tall and green

a brand new baby born to spring and all now is serene

and both the children shall be loved both there and the unseen

for life has many seasons summer winter fall and spring.
