I'll take the "Irrelevant" to mean "Blind Stinking Sober" for the sake of discussion. 

I mostly ask as there's some films that, from my experience, require drugs of some kind to compliment it and allow it to do it's full thing. Requiem for a Dream for instance is quite disturbing with LSD, as is Beyond the Black Rainbow.
