she was screaming at my gf at the bus stop when i was meetin up with her she had kicked her backpack into the street and was about two inches from her face.i grabbed her after she tried to hit me when i got between them. i pinned her to the busstop stall and threatened her. i honestly let my anger get the better of me for good reason.

makes sense from what I know of your character, I'd guessing this is the first time in said 3 years you'd had to defend someone in a situation like that and raising your voice seems warranted
