What do you mean
She'll be my wife until I kill her.
And she'll understand when I do.
Fantasies like these tend to manifest from a desire to retain control. Do you feel like you've lost control recently?

Gaslighting is a hell of a drug
Scarlett used to ask for my forgiveness whenever she made a "mistake".
I taught Scar how it's okay to make mistakes, and that it's normal to forget things at times. We all do. And how it's not always some deathly sin.
Shifty hates me for telling Scarlett to think for herself. He capitalised on her abusive mother and father to gain control over her. He wants Scar to be a child, so he can keep manipulating her. It correlates with his self-admitted predilection towards children.
No doubt Damien tried the same shit with other girls but failed, which is why he's so desperately chasing Scarlett. She's the only woman that has ever fallen for his toddlerish shenanigans. And that's why he hates me. I prevent him from doing that which he has wasted his entire 20s cultivating. He effectively reached his personal dead end. And now he suffers, while Scarlett is safe and well.

I've been slowly overtime becoming more wary of chronic apologizers...
Nothing says "disarming" like begging for forgiveness. It's an immediate ego status move, and I've seen it used to de-elevate their own sense of responsibility and how overt their reputation is once the apology has been signed off on, allowing them to make further mistakes and more easily blend in plain sight. I largely turn away most apologies from aggressively seeing them as manipulative and otherwise disgusting, as someone can own up to what they've done without gross fealty behaviors.
Inauthentic sneaky types, like chronic liars, will visit this tactic alongside playing the victim to gaslight scenarios. Speaking as a subby brat, who is in control is not always as it overtly appears...

fuck you
seems like pretty solid evidence linking Damien to Shiftycunt. death threats, intimidation, scarlett fearing for her safety. i think you might be going to jail pretty soon.
scarlett's hand writing on a note given to her husband, hmm who else could it be?
