this is what he looks like, (not an actual photo but all cats look the same lol, he looks just like this) his name is bo bo. short for beauregard, a French word that means beautiful eyes.

my mom named him, she lived in a France for a long time and so she has an affinity for French things, and most of my family originates out of New Orleans Louisiana- where French is the predominate influence on language and culture historically.
I guess the cat reminded my mom of the actual guy, they have a similar vibe. very stately, poised. general-like.
ironically his name means beautiful eyes but he was born blind. we did everything we could to nurse his eyes back to health but, we don't really know how much he can see at this point.
he is very lovely. big fluffy tail. he mow's at me every morning and rubs against my leg.
when he was young he lived an adventurous life being a partial indoor outdoor cat but now that he is old he doesn't go too far, he might sit on the porch or maybe the grass but, for the most part he is indoor.
very well mannered and calm serene cat, kind of a rag doll like he is very floppy and just easy going. he isn't the skittish type at all. he doesn't hiss or bite strangers or anything like that. you can just plop him down anywhere and he'll just stay like that sitting all cute for a pic or whatever. lol.
