You said he was "reconstructed" after he was "destroyed," in a thread that overrates the abilities of titanium. No need to go on a name calling tantrum.

Bone strength comes from geometry and biology (how it remodels, mineral density, loading). CNC print your plates/screws/cage and for complext joint additions or any kind of bone implant depending on what you want, for more complex architectures, 3D print the bone mold and fill it with titanium alloy. Welding and cutting the titanium alloy is also fair game for structuring your bones. Make sure to sand the edges. Stainless steel, cobalt-chrome and ceramics are also good materials to use for bone implants.
For my friend, I'm assuming they used reference images, took measurements, 3D scanned his broken head and modeled the required structure in 3D.
Most likely they used CNC to cut the Titanium since it would be a quicker route to completing the parts, plus the parts are a 1 off, so no need to create a mold and inject it titanium alloy into a cavity
I looked more into this and what's cool is bone cells will bond to titanium without any glue.
Titanium is a nice material, it's stronger and lighter than steel and it won't rust.
For a street fighter titanium knuckles would be an advantage it seems, though it would also pierce the flesh on the fist in ways bone wouldn't.
